Me @ Bangalore

12th January, 2013.

Evening 4:45 I got down at Krishnarajpuram Railway Station, Bangalore along with my sister. Coming down from Gujarat. (A state full of foodies and business minded people) my only worry was food in Bangalore. We boarded a local train to City Railway station and reached community guesthouse (Bangalore Vaishnav Samaj). To our surprise we got typical Gujarati food there.

Within two days We found a good PG for my sister and she finally started living in PG.

So this was my purpose behind coming to Bangalore. But still while writing this blog I am in Bangalore and haven't gone back to my hometown. Well it started with an idea and ended up in living in Bangalore. With just a planning of 7 days living in Bangalore I came to Bangalore and I just made my mind that I will live here and search for the job based on my qualification. So the journey started from there and its still going.

I stayed at Community guesthouse for around 18 days in which I applied to many companies and also went for the interviews but unfortunately rejected everywhere but I had nothing to loose. I didn't loosed the hope and continued with the same process. In this process I also got some part time work in one shop where I used to prepare power point presentations for a professional trainer which ended up into a recognition of my talent and a bad experience. After 18 days I shifted to other dormitory and stayed there for almost 10 days and continued with my job search. Finally I got through HS Brands International and joined the company on 11th February, 2013.

Well the journey though it seems to be easy, it went easily with few pursuits as follows.

Pursuit of finding Food (Roti) :- After eating too much of rice items for the initial 10-15 days my stomach as well as my mouth were not in a position to accept anything accept roti and Gujarati food. I traveled by walking in search of the food for around 5-10 kms and always ending up in just having pani-puri or rice. Still that pursuit is going on and my 6th sense says one day i will definitely eat Gujarati food.

Pursuit of Communication :- The most enjoyable pursuit was to communicate in English with everyone in Bangalore. Before coming to Bangalore I had watched the movie English-Vinglish. It was wonderful experience and it continues today also. When I open my mouth to speak English, God knows from where the words come and i speak fluent English. It was not easy in starting. Initially I was portraying myself as Sridevi trying to manage to speak few English words (It's not like that I was not knowing to communicate in English, but I was enjoying the change in myself). Each person I met I was thanking him for whatever i communicated with him and was doing everything in English.

Many other pursuits i did everyday, every minute of my stay till now in Bangalore and what all i can conclude up to here is that Bangalore is a pleasant city to live in. People are very nice here, helpful, cooperative. Corruption is there here too but thank god I haven't faced any and I wish I won't face it any. Honest people are very much afraid of Corruption and I am the one amongst many.

Climate in Bangalore is just awesome. Traveling is not a headache as seen in other metro cities.
So I am just enjoying every moment of my life here in Bangalore.

Thanks for reading my Blog.

How few countries are prosperous?

Hello All,
Very interesting article i found across while going through Gujarat Samachar newspaper. So thought of sharing with the rest of the world (as if whole world is gonna read this.........hahahaha).
Firstly courtesy is Mr. Rohit Patel who's name is written at the end of the article in newspaper (I don't guarantee whether it's his original or he has copy pasted from somewhere else......lols.).

I have translated the article from gujarati to english so plz try to co-relate.
So as heading states---How few Countries are Prosperous?
Here it goes...........Enjoy reading.

It's a myth that older the culture, good is the countries development. Countries like India and Egypt have very old cultures(Sanskruti) but then also poverty is wide spread in both countries. Opposite to that countries like Australia, Canada, New-Zealand were not at all known before 150 years or so have become prosperous.

Fact that benefit of natural resources to prosperous and poor countries is also baseless. Japan has got very less natural resources as compared to India. Japan does not have ample land for farming but then also it imports raw materials from entire world to keep its industry running day and night. Small country like Switzerland is best in Milk and Chocolate Industry. Cocoa is not produced / found in Switzerland though its having renowned name is Chocolate Industry.

Both prosperous as well as poor countries have got workforce with same understanding and brain power.
Difference between prosperous and poor countries on the basis of racism and cast-ism is also not proper. A lazy and dumb person from India becomes an enthusiastic and intelligent employee. Then what are the reasons between prosperous and poor countries which keep poor countries poor and poor?

When we look at the orientation and mindset of the people of both the type of countries (specifically India and other prospering countries) we understand that our countries education system, superstition and blind belief have created this difference.

1. Moral Principles : Most of the Indians are found talking about the moral principles but it's rarely found them practicing them in practical life. Every individual talks of improving the present conditions but never tries a bit to achieve that. City must be clean is been talked by every individual but well-educated people also spit on the road and they don't even feel shy or don't even have any sign of shame. Everywhere there are talks of improving each sector but there are no practical implementations for the same. Country where moral principles are followed and practiced only those countries enjoy prosperity.

2. Honesty / Fidelity : Every country has got people who cheat other people and earn money but in prosperous countries that number is very small(minor), whereas in poor countries you will find this number in ample amount and that too in each sector. Person from Auto-Rickshaw driver to big builders, businessmen, industrialists all are corrupt. In India too there are many honest and hard working people but unfortunately the bunch of selfish and corrupt people don't allow them to win. In business like of Bottled drinking water too corruption and dishonesty is being seen. UN-filtered water is being filled into the bottle and is sold as filtered water. Countries Prosperity and brand image lies in the honesty of people of country.

3. Responsibility : In prosperous country, most of the workforce (employees+labour) do their duty with responsibility, where as poor countries workforce find the ways to skip their responsibilities and they feel proud for the same. When people of India will feel the spirit of responsibility at that time only India will be able to compare itself with the prospering countries.

4. Respect for Law & Order and Rules : In prosperous countries, people consider law and order as part of their life and follow them with great respect and responsibility. They don't require Police personals to keep watch on them. They stand silently in queue. No crowds are scene, respect discipline. In case of poor countries like India, breaking any law and order is considered as a sign of bravery. Right from childhood, children learns to break the law and order.(and still parents expect their children's to be disciplined).

5. Respect / Love for Work : People of prosperous countries do their work most of the time with great love and respect. Working with a smile has become like a rule in those countries. Where as in poor countries many people consider work as load and do it with sad attitude. Hard language and non-respectable attitude is accepted by the customers in this countries.

6. Importance to Production / Manufacturing : Producing more and more in lessor time, producing more at less effort is given significant importance in prosperous countries. In poor countries Politicians, oppositions for the greediness and self benefit of their own don't feel shame or don't resist in disturbing and sometimes breaking down the industries.

7. Importance to Regularity / Time: Prosperous countries give prime importance to time discipline. Most of the works are completed on time and effort is been put to complete before time. Opposite to that in poor countries like India time is not given importance in terms of completing work. It takes years to get justice in this country. Wastage of time gives rise to bribery and corruption.

Hope you are getting the theme of this post. Well friends if you feel the above written true by your heart then do share it with all your friends. It’s we only who will be able to make our country prosperous. For that we all will have to change ourselves.

As usual your valuable comments are welcomed with warmness…….Kindly help me in improving my writing skills. I am open to change…….lols.

Happy time ahead………Cheers.

P.S- Intention behind this blog is not to hurt sentiments of any citizen of any country. I have utmost respect for entire world and entire human species. Purpose is just to open the eyes and have a perspective towards better future.

Mother-A precious gift

Feeling so tired. Thinking of my mother who used to do so much of work. She used to wake up before everyone, doing work all day and also sleeping after everyone has slept. I really feel that if there is god in visible form than that is in the form of mother. Like to me when i was small my mother waked me up everyday and at night she used to sit beside me and used to make me sleep by tapping my forehead with her divine hands. Really it was so amazing that whatever tension/workload/ or any thing if i have in my mind it just vanishes in moments. For me my day starts with my mother's face in front of me and my day ends again with my mother's face in front of me. In Hindu religion there is one saying that when we wake up we must pray to god for the new day to live and must pray to god before sleeping for the wonderful day he gave to us. But I would say that if one wants to thank really from heart than thank to mother who is in fact equivalent to god or more precisely i would say god is not able to handle all his child so he created mother to divide the workload and sit relaxed.

So my motto behind writing today is i am missing my mother very much and i am also missing her divine touch. Thank you mumma for your blessings and your care without which i would have never been the happiest person in this world. Will meet you soon as soon as my academics gets over or i get some bunch of holidays.Really missing you mummy.

My salute to all mothers.

First Poem by Me

Sochta hun mein, Sochta hun mein.
Dil mein khwab bunta rehta hun mein.
Durr akash mein udte panchi ko dekh,
Udne ki tamana dil mein jagti dekh,
Kuch kar dikhane ki tamana mein,
Chal pada hun mein, chal pada hun mein.

Mann mein aash hai, Dil mein talash hai,
Apna hoga yeh jahan, yehi vishvas hai.
Mera bhi hoga jahan sapno sa,
Apna bhi hoga ashiyana sapno sa,
Kya rakha hai aise hi jine mein,
Aise hi kuch sochta hum mein.

Manzil milegi ya nahin, yeh pata nahi,
Hosla buland hai, harne ka darr nahi.
Ankho mein sapne hai, pana bus tujko hai,
Khwabon ke samundar mein apni kashti liye,
Chal pada hun mein, chal pada hun mein.
